Feelgood: ”We feel confident with the reports from Leasify”

Feelgood initially managed its lease accounting in Excel. But as the number of contracts increased and adjustments became more complex, the setup could no longer keep up. After a recommendation from an auditor and a meeting with Leasify, the choice was clear – this was the right solution. Explore CFO Niklas Mahlin’s experience with Leasify and why he confidently recommends the platform.

About Feelgood

Feelgood is a Swedish occupational health company, consisting of nine entities within the national group. With around 150 physical offices across Sweden, the company generates an annual turnover of approximately one billion SEK.

Feelgood was previously listed on OMX Stockholm, but in 2021 the company was acquired by the Finnish group Terveystalo Healthcare OY, which is publicly listed on OMX Helsinki.

Today, Feelgood manages around 60 lease agreements, as well as roughly the same number of vehicles.

From Excel to a smoother solution with Leasify

– Like many others, we used an Excel file that we developed together with our auditors. It worked at first, but as the number of contracts grew, it quickly became unmanageable, says Niklas, and continues:

– It was hard to get a clear overview of both the calculations and the contracts we had. Most of all, it took far too long to get the calculations in order – especially during year-end closing when time is limited.

– At the time, we were working with an auditor from a well-known Swedish firm. The person who helped me with IFRS had also reviewed Leasify’s solution. After a demonstration of the system, I felt confident that it met our needs. The transition felt natural and smooth, he says.

Clear, reliable reports you can trust and share with third parties

– Today, the work looks completely different. What used to take an entire workday can now be done in just a couple of hours. It’s especially noticeable during year-end closing, when there’s so much else to manage and every minute saved really counts, he notes.

– Another major advantage is that the reports are clear and easy to follow. I can share them with our auditor without having to explain every single detail. That creates a real sense of confidence.

Full control – without relying on Excel

– The report packages from Leasify give me a clear and complete overview, from which contracts have ended, to how the disclosure notes should be presented, and ensuring the accounting balances correctly.

– Leasify is a well-structured and easy-to-understand system. I can work backwards, verify the numbers, and immediately spot if something’s off. That gives me confidence, both in my own work and when presenting the reports to a third party, says Niklas.

Even the way the reports are presented is appreciated.

– Aesthetically, the layout matches how I would have designed it myself. It makes the reports both visually appealing and easy to follow, he comments.

Niklas repeatedly highlights clarity as one of the major improvements over the previous approach.

– When I was working in Excel, I was basically the only one who understood how everything fit together, and even I struggled at times. Now I can share the reports with others, and it’s easy for everyone to follow the reasoning behind the numbers. It’s a huge difference, Niklas explains.

The auditors feel confident

– The auditors also feel confident in the system and the reports they receive from Leasify. Everything is easy to follow and quick to verify, he says, and adds:

– I can confidently recommend Leasify to others, Niklas concludes.
